All SAPI-sized plates are crafted with a standard thickness of 29mm (1 1/8 inch). However, the plate's back features closed-cell foam for trauma protection, which allows it to be compressed down to 26mm. With over 1,000 pairs sold, every customer has confirmed that our plates are a perfect fit for their SAPI/ESAPI-sized plate carriers.
